NE Iowa | I agree. The usda has been pulling numbers out of their butts for years and now they got caught with their zippers down.
I and others were called a lot of names over the last few years and look which group was right.
Imagine how nice the last few years could have been with average prices, a little better than average prices, and less feeling of angst.
Now, a wild swing up, and with that swing, a wild swing up in all our inputs. Great. It took years for chem, fert, and seed to tick down after the 2012 drought and now we are in the same boat.
