In 2012 we harvested over 1000 acres of beans that were expected to not make much grain due to the drought. Most were chopped and made excellent feed that took the place of alfalfa in a dairy ration. We also baled and wrapped a bunch. This also worked well but calves would sort some of the bigger stems. In both cases the feed tested 180-200 rfv.
Anyone used eagle seed forage soybeans?
