I was thinking something along the same lines....
Add some eggs to that milk, beat it up, dip the bread in the milk/egg mixture, and fry it in a frying pan, and that is what we called French Toast.
Frankly, I'd rather have the eggs in it - French Toast - than just bread and milk.
Anybody remember bread & milk recipe for breakfast?
