I agree with the above posts. Personally I prefer the 332 since the status and various settings can be observed and changed via the keypad on the Yellow Receiver box. This assumes you have the knowledge and the perserverance to work with the menu structure.

In the case of the 252, there is no display so it is not possible to check on the status of certain items or change settings without using a laptop computer hooked to one of the ports. The Ag Remote software can be used to change the settings.

Some would argue that the ordinary operator has little need for the status and wouldn't know how or why to change the many settings. This is probably true and explains why Trimble has both the 252 and the 332 models.
