NW Washington | You can buy stone ground cornmeal if you look for it. The problem with stone ground meal is that it tends to be coarser and that it has a limited shelf life since the endosperm is in the meal.
I doubt that you will find a big market for your meal.
"What is stone ground cornmeal?
Stone-ground cornmeal (the corn is literally ground between two slowly moving stones) retains some of the hull and germ, so it's coarser in texture and lends a more interesting flavor to baked goods. Still, the two types can be used interchangeably."
