Subject: RE: Stone ground corn?

Barry County, MI
The one i have duck is a dixie king the smaller one The larger one is in a cast iron frame I believe enterprise I think. My mills are not the ones that lay flat Mine are vertical ones one stone is ridget and the other stone turns . They need atention one and awhile taken apart and set switch means a small tool with 9 points on it and run with little impack tool I guess you would say I cant remember the correct name like a air hammer but the small one. Try to get some of the old open pollinated corn seed . Id recomend any or all of those I mentioned in the post above. I think if you lock on the internet under jennings bros. stone ground grain you can find alot of recipes and remember butter milk is your friend when baking any of these recipes or any other one that calls for milk. good luck archie ps donk grow sweet corn for making meal It never worked for us we tried it once no luck
