Central NC | I would purchase a Husqavarna XP550 version 2, I have run a version 1 for about 10 years along with Stihl and Homelite super XL, the Stihl seem to have a much softer metal for the bars, older ones seem to have slight problem to latch gas and oil caps, still running Homelites with bow bars, Stihl are a good saw, I just cut much more wood than most
