The way we tend to start them is to put on the choke, pull it over until it "pops," then take off the choke half or all the way (winter vs. summer) and pull again. Usually starts on the next pull after the "pop." We use no-ethanol premium gasoline in all our two-stroke engine equipment. 





Exactly the way I start mine and exactly the way they always behave. Always the same, every time, since new. MS360 PRO, 024 WoodBoss, and even the little MS170. Only difference is they have had 91 or 93 octane E10 gas in them since new. Never have used any stabilizer and never have had any problems.
