Subject: RE: GSI grain leg. Powder coat vs galvanized

north-central Indiana west of Fulton
We have a 15 year old GSI leg that is powder coated. The dealer recommended that at the time. It seems to be in good shape , but I expect it to be, our first leg was painted and lasted 38 years.....but not without some repair to stretch the years!
Now we have a GSI dealer that is a mile down the road that we have done all our business with....and he said he only sells the galvanized legs....says they are better and the powder coat can chip where bolted. I would prefer the galvanized, but I didn’t know it would be that much more.
