Manola,Ab, Ca | I was at the lumber yard today getting a few stud length 2x4s....over $8 a piece. I overheard a counter person on the phone saying that they had no deck boards available. This is in an area surrounded by lumber mills.
The mills are all running flat out but cannot keep up. They had some reduced hours during the early days of COVID but were called essential so have been able to continue production. The pulp mills are also running around the clock. | |
