E.Central MN | Hmm, how many buildings were destroyed in the forest fires out west? How many buildings were destroyed due to the hurricanes down south? Compared to that, I doubt the rioting damage is even a drop in the bucket. Contractors look to be busier than ever here and we're 55 miles away from where any rioting took place. In the past decade, a lot of US lumber mills closed due to cheaper softwood lumber from Canada. I wonder what the border restrictions and closures have done to the flow of goods (such as lumber) across the border. | |
