Another thing killing American Manufacturing is emissions, that’s a huge reason it’s shipped overseas to other countries(EPA has no power elsewhere).

You do have a point, the manufacture of products that can be done with AI and easily meet emissions will shift back here, but it has to be up to the free market to make it cost effective to happen.



Nothing “easily meets emissions” without higher cost. Even if the factory itself has no emissions to speak of, everything, from supplies deliveries to getting the bathroom water heater replaced, is more expensive in this country because of emissions laws.
