Subject: What’s the implications if 90% of beans delivered to local coop were sold off the combine?

Northwest Iowa
Talked to a local coop yesterday who takes in 1.6-1.7 million bushels of beans and they said 90% of the beans delivered were sold by the farmer to generate cash. So they were moving them because there’s obviously an inverse telling everybody why store them past right now. Some marketing services we listen to say higher highs at a later date into next spring but with the inverse how can a guy take that chance. Roll for .20 inverse hoping basis improves .40??? Doesn’t seem like a logical choice to me but I do have a few beans to sell and trying to decide what to do.

Any thoughts on where a person protects themselves on the upside here when we are at the high of everything?

Also with a lot of people bringing beans to town more corn stored in those bins is assumed makes for interesting thoughts as to what the corn market may or may not do. They want the corn right now to. Decisions......
