NW IA | I have, but only occasionally. My dad bought a brand new NI Super-Picker, I don't remember the year. He was 83 the last year we picked ear corn, 2005?.
I asked my wife to take a bunch of pictures that fall, realizing that nothing lasts forever. Happy to have them now.
I don't think I can remember my father having a bad day pickin' corn. He was born in '22 and picked corn by hand for a dollar a day prior to an all expenses paid tour of Europe courtesy of his Uncle Sam.
That Super-Picker meant more to him than any techy's new Iphone will ever mean to them. | |
