SE North Dakota | It’s almost impossible to not break cob with an open 8 bar rotor. Enclosed works much better but I have had experience with the open and make sure the front of the concave is open and no “wedge” in it. I usually take a shelled cob and try to fit that between the bars and the concave all the way from the front to the back of concave. Want it so it just clears the bars. This helps a lot from not having it completely red coming over the shoe. Good luck. | |
