I do a lot of corn with the air at "6" and seldom wide open unless corn is over 25% moisture level. The more air you run, the more it will blow out on the fields end when turning. Make absolutely sure the chaffer center tunnel is plugged with something, like a small corn cob. That tunnel is to be plugged at the front with RTV and if that is missing will dribble corn all the way thru it onto the axle !!!! Also, make sure the front area (grain pan) is clean from dirt build up down to bare metal. If there is a dirt build up you will have corn blowing out all the time. BTDT.
