I would like to know about the Masterbuilt also. I looked one over a couple weeks ago, and its not cast iron, but I was surprised at how heavy it was compared to other Masterbuilt products. I think it would help to mix pellets or wood chips in with the charcoal for more smoked taste, if thats a problem.
