Southern MN | Wow. Republicans more right? Wow. Bill Clinton would be considered a right wing conservative today. The republicans have moved farther right on some social issues, as that is where their base is at. Have several friends that used to be staunch Dems that are very strong Republicans now, and their initial party switch was because of the left taking over and moving their party way left, social issues part of that. Neither party is conservative fiscally anymore and that is because of the Democrats not even allowing discussion on Our major social spending issues. GOP wants to take your social security and kill your grandma said again and again.. | |
