Texas, the really flat part | You realize that the senate refused to follow the constitution in 2016 concerning this very thing. I think the hypocrisy of the modern gop is appalling. As to the Democrats being much further left than they used to be...nah. The gop has moved much further right and from that far right position it just looks like the dems have moved left. It wasn’t so long ago that the gop was pro choice, supported environmental regulations, financial regulation, etc, supported social security and Medicare, a progressive income tax and a balanced budget. |
