North Dakota | I bought a 4tb usb3 disk about 3 years ago and have it connected to the router. I can then map it to any computer or TV on the network. Works OK but can be a bit slow if you have a very large amount of data to transfer. I transferred my photos and videos from a trip last year, about 50 gig and it took around 15 minutes. That has a lot more to do with my wireless network than the speed of the drive. If I would do it now I would get a larger drive, maybe 8 TB. | |
