ND | Well you aren't the only one in Watford that assumed that. I wasn't there for a long time but it did make school interesting with "if you're from the RRV, why are you here?" And "oh he's from out by Fargo" When I don't think I've ever said that I was but whatever floats your boat I guess.
Heggans I'm 90% sure they sold Gleaners past the 70s as we've run across L3s(in Wheatland ND of all places) with Green stripes(post 1985) that say heggans on them. Also I can name about 20 farms that had Gleaners until the largest Gleaner dealer quit(Lindsay in Williston). Wendell was a pretty good salesman and Lindsay Implement had the parts, service, and know how to keep the machines going.
Not from Watford but have traveled in the county enough. Reading further on the golf course issue, I'd have to say skarda and McCabe I think it was do make a good point: why should the entire county give for something that only benefits a select few, in Watford? Also why no advertising on that? You kinda have to dig for info on that course on google. | |
