Northern Nebraska | The president is correct that decades of pent up fuel make for terrible fires.
He was incorrect when he said it only happens in California. And places like Europe didn't have fires. In the last two years there have been more terrible fires than there had been (at any given time) in recorded history.
Australia, Brazil, the Congo, France, Indonesia, Greece, Serbia and even Siberia for crying out loud. The tinderbox in Cali was caused by people but drought amplified the problem like dumping coal oil on the tinderbox.
