I suggest talking with your doctor about the aspirin as well. 

At one time, that was a standard recommendation to use it.  There has been research that has come out in recent years questioning the value of it.  I believe there are some people who still should be using it; however, I don't think that number of people needing it as a widespread as it was previously recommended. 

Ask your doctor if you still need it (the aspirin).
