nw/nc iowa on the banks of West Buttrick Creek.. | Your story is quite close to mine. Retired and lost a 30 lbs and with the blessing of my heart Dr. I was able to wean down and finally quit using Losartan. All was fine and dandy until I developed gout, I think I had mild gout for a long time but the anti inflammatory part of Losartan had controlled the gout, for who knows how long. Did not want to use prednisone for the gout so it took a little long to almost totally get rid of gout. Feeling a lot better. I try to keep my BP at 130/85, any lower and I feel sluggish. |
