If he has the property leased and hunting was not discussed, then he has the legal right to give hunting permission. Technically, if you didn't discuss yourself having access to the property, then you were in fact trespassing. Now, is a tenant who desires a good tenant/landlord relationship going to do that to the landowner? NO! Lol.
