South Carolina | Just yesterday found one drone
Used a good handheld garmin and marked last known location
Walked a grid pattern and after about an hour found it 150 feet past marker
I had calculated 120 feet due to height, rate of fall, and speed at last location
Battery case cracked but no sign of bulging on bottom of battery
Sent flight log to DJI with hopes of some answers but not very hopeful
Something obviously caused an instant shutdown but we may never know what
