North West IA/western AZ | I have found a drone (Mavic Pro) that was lost by a friend who didn't have time to look for it. He gave me the coordinates and I tracked it down with my handheld Garmin to within 7' of where it lay with the battery dislodged. I have lost signal with the same drone several times and had it return to home on it's own. I may have asked on this site what to do but anyway, I replaced the cable between the controller and my tablet and it hasn't happened since.
Landing in a cotton field (unless it had been harvested) would really suck. | |
