East Central Ia | We will get going as soon as possible on our torn up stuff. We are far enough south of the worst areas that we don’t have anything totally flat, but we also don’t have anything standing 100% normal.
This week of slow saturating rain is great to replenish our soil moisture, too late to help most of the crop, but all the down corn has gotten closer to ground and has turned a black color the last couple days.
Guys are wondering now if most of that down stuff is just going to rot and spoil and need to be abandoned so we don’t contaminate the decent stuff with damaged grain. | |
