That's a good question. I have a hard time doing a decent job grain quality wise above 25 percent. I suppose a lot depends on the upcoming weather. Some warm sunny weeks and it should dry down some. We just had five days in a row of rain.
I agree... I think that 25% is a magic number. Most guys can’t do a decent job with 25-30% stuff through their grain setups, let alone the combine. We can handle sub 30% stuff ok, 25% and under is better, 20-22% is my sweet spot. |
