NW IA		I am very impressed with the guard rail and I-beams we have in our shed.

Perhaps my finished steers are not as high traffic or as intense as cows.

I do keep a bale of bean stubble outside the guard rail and that gets high pressure with no tipping detectable after about 4 years.

I can't see any potential for corrosion or breakage.
