being reactive is easier than being proactive. Proactive almost always has a better result.
We have gotten spoiled with roundup and the next few years and it will be a challenge to go back to spraying habits from almost 30 years ago. Will be a bigger challenge for my age group who have only known roundup.
You are right though, best time to spray is when you don't think you need too.
