Grand Rapids, MI | As for GIS capabilities, I don't think there is much that APEX will do that Farmworks will not. In the past I know saving a moving A-B lines was a bit more cumbersome with Farmworks, but that is all I can think of. Farmworks will do a lot more than APEX will though. For example soil sample records, yield queries, more robust prescriptions, etc. I always like to say start with the end in mind. Let us know here where you are thinking of going with your GIS and we can likely give better advice.
I think you are refering to their Farm Funds, Farm Site, and Farm Trac programs. If so, yes they integrate so well together that you will likely not know which functionality you are using.
You can definately upload boundaries to Farmworks, I have done it. I am less certain if you can export them out of APEX. | |
