Thanks guys, I would love an in field demo but both trimble dealers say no, the one said that have lots of units out and know it will work and that i will like it. The other said they dont do demos. Both also said they couldnt do the demo since our tractors arent supported by trimble. The raven dealer has a total of 4 gps products out, 2 raven vipers and 2 zynx 20s, they wont order in a smart steer for us to try unless they know the can sell it to me or someone else. The lack of intrest in gps stuff is there reason. From that aspect of dealer coverage neither is good. The raven dealer is also where we got our zynx 20.
Thanks for the heads up about the raven stuff OTC509 thats a good thing to look at.
I'm surprised that they won't do field demos. Our salesmen prefer to do it that way. They install an EZ-Steer for a guy and let him try it. The customer almost always buys the product. If he doesn't it is probably best for both parties and everybody stays happy.
