Subject: RE: Dollar Stores

NE NEBRASKA
Only Dollar Tree sells for a dollar. Family Dollar (owned by Family Dollar) and Dollar General things sell for any price. They are like a little Walmart of basic items. I have 9 dollar stores with 40 miles of my house. I probably do 35% of my shopping at them. Dollar stores took the growth out of Walmart in the last decade. Walmarts small store division was a failure and I think dollar general actually took over a lot of the locations. Dollar stores are hard on small town grocery stores too. Being they take all paper & detergent/soap sales which are higher margin than regular food.

Dollar stores are for sale as a investment starting around a million and 6% return.

Probably a better investment than buying farm land.
