They've been all aboard the "sustainable" train for a while. They don't have a clue, or don't care, what it actually stands for only that the strict definition of the word sounds good to them. Because who wouldn't want to be sustainable right?
Most people don’t have a clue what “sustainable” means nor would they recognize it if it hit them in the head.
