Subject: Re: implement offset?

Eastern Iowa
Sorry, I should have explained my problem better. The strip-till seems to be consistently hanging about 1"-1.5" to the right of center. So if I strip to the east and am off 1.5" and then strip back to the west and am off 1.5", it makes my guess rows either 2"-3" too narrow or 2"-3" too wide. So I put in a 1.5" offset in to the right and saw no difference. I upped that to 3" to the right and still saw no difference. I then thought, maybe I'm not understanding the offset correctly and moved it to a 1.5" offset to the left and still no difference. No matter what I did, the guess rows were always about 32-33" wide then the next guess rows were about 27-28" and then 32"-33", then 27"28 and so on..... So I thought, I need to see if this offset is really doing anything at all so that is when I put the 3 ft offset in. I went back down my original AB line, thinking that I should have shifted 3 ft over and I was still driving right down my original AB line.
