I have a 1660 that I'm having trouble setting the header height. In manual, everything works great.. flip it to auto, and no matter what the dial position sensor says in the cab, the head comes all the way back up and the pump to raise the head will keep running, even after the head reaches full up, until I flip the header height switch to manual.
I'm thinking something in the mechanical linkage is telling it the head is way too low. Which side of the feederhouse is this linkage on?
