Nebraska aka the boondocks
There is plenty of slop in the system, essentially because there is no accountability. Go back several months and read what was or is needed to rattle the market.... an acreage report that takes away a a billion bushels and Chinese buying, neither of which were in the cards months ago, happened. The net price effect is essentially zero, goal posts move. Some will tell you, well if that didn’t happen prices would be way lower, I doubt it, see previous comment they weren’t in the cards. As a side note, I see ray grabinski and others, tweaked their yield numbers today, based off the crop conditions.... .27745263, Hmmmm. Anyhow, you are gonna need another jolt like the acreage report to get what you believe to be true, even if you are correct today. I have a proposal for the USDA, spend 10 cents on the dollar, buy a billion bushels of corn and dump it in the ocean. No payment to farmers, save the taxpayer a fortune, and get rid of a product that nobody wants.
