Maybe, if it's sustainable. But it reminds me, I've got a good friend at the Deere Waterloo plant. When corn was $6-7 and tractors were selling like hotcakes, he told me so much overtime was available that employees there had the ability to take home virtually whatever size paycheck they wanted. He said a few people were putting in serious hours and making serious bank- but a lot more didn't want to work any more hours than what it took to buy their groceries and pay the bills. |
