Local Campbell's Supply store always has had water softener salt on sale every year in the fall.Last fall I bought a pallet of 40# bags for $3.48/bag. Works out to $.087 per lbNot sure if they'll have it again this year or not as Campbell's Supply was bought out by Runnings late last year.
