McCanna, ND | I’m not sure which way I’d lean on tie rods. Have 50k on my replacement non greasable oem dodge parts and they are still tight, original had 120k and still was pretty good, but nearing the end of its life.
U joints generally use completely different seals between greasable and non greasable joints. Greasable u joints only use a rubber boot which isn’t even a seal hardly, that’s why it’s best to grease the u joints until they purge from every cap. Every greasable u joint I’ve taken apart that’s failed was either due to not greasing, or one of the passages got gummed up with crap so grease couldn’t get to the needle bearings. | |
