Southern Alberta Canada | Yeah, I can remember that, those steering components and radius rod ends were always worn out. My solution was to replace that rod system with heavy truck torque rod ends but never got around to it (guess how they do it today).
Since '97 they have improved significantly. We have a 2007 with 400,000 very hard km 2wd that's only had the front brakes and wheel bearings replaced.
Speaking of wheel bearings, seems we never did wheel bearings until they invented these hub assemblies, now anything over a 100,000km is bonus mileage.
