Camp Douglas Wi. 40miles nw of wi. dells | In the fall of 1966 I just started Freshman in high school, Ag teacher took all the high school Ag students to Wisconsin Farm Progress Days in Adams county just east of us. Anyway Case had There first 4wd tractor 1200 Traction King with 451 cu turbo putting wapping 120 hp, pulling a Case 7x16” plow in Alfalfa sod in sandy ground. I fell in love with the Case 1200 Traction King. In 1980 I bought 1200 Case With Waldon dozer blade at farm auction. Still have the 1200, have fixed many broken legs and arms plus two heart transplants on the old girl, has 504 turbo set at 175 hp.
My first tractor I bought with my money was Case 930 gas in 1973, it’s long gone. Brother and I are tractor junkies, I bought and sold tractors from mid 70s till mid 90s, still horse trade abit.
