Denmark | I think it was assembled in Europe as the price matched European built tractors.
At the time there was 18 % duty on US tractors brought into Europe, but if they were brought in only partly assembled the duty was 8 %.
The cab was a Danish built Sekura . And was it ever hard on the ears. I blame that tractor, together with operating crawlers in California, for my lousy hearing.
Here is another picture of it, with a Canadian Leon blade mounted. You may also notice an air compressor on the tractor. It delivered air to the brakes on a 16 ton capacity trailer I towed with the 826.
