SW WI | Right from the start of the safer at home stuff....my first thought went to tax revenues not being brought in by various levels of government. And all the while they were coming out with programs that threw money around, I wondered how they thought they were going to pay for it.
There is no free lunch.
That thought also enters my mind when I hear farmers complain about estate taxes, inheritance taxes, now a possible rollback of step up basis, all the while setting up a trust to try to protect their equity to pass onto future generations.....and keeping it out of the nursing home’s hands.
I don’t see that going on forever.....it’s unsustainable. | |
