Not true. I checked my excel sheet.

If by taxes, you mean only federal and state income and SE taxes, then they broke even in 2015. The total amount of FSA subsidy I had received in my farming career about equaled the amount of those taxes I had paid so far in my career. We've had more subsidies and I've paid less taxes since then, so subsidies are ahead now.

If you include property taxes, then it's not even close. Farm subsidies will never come close to the total amount of taxes I pay.
