We are running a large plot for bayer comparing two varieties of xtend beans against enlist beans. The enlist Beans surround the xtends beans on three sides, I sprayed to the inside of the row of separation for the enlist beans, kept the xtends product three foot away from the enlist beans.
so far everybody is co-habitating, it appears to be no drift from any chemical at the moment.
I’ve got UT variety cotton trials planted in the middle of an Enlist cotton field. The variety trials consist of mostly XTend varieties. I’ve sprayed Enlist One right up to the plots with no sign of damage.
My belief is that Enlist stays put after application unlike XTend in hot humid conditions. But Enlist can drift like any other chemical. You just don’t have to worry about volatilization. |
