It's not enlist it's the dumb a$$ not using enlist there using amine and not spraying to recommend nozzeles or use.
I have used enlist sprayed with the recommend nozzeles along side my landlords yard that had grape vine and tomatoes planted with in 100 yards of the field. Nothing has happened and it has been 10 days. I really like enlist and have no problem with using it correctly.
I'll get flamed for my comment , but I've been knocked around before.
Not flaming you BUT luck comes into play sometimes 2-4-D WILL move
AND FWIW 2-4-D SUCKS at killing what I need to kill
