King City, Mo
Here my market is moms with kids so I gotta be in line with Walmart and Hyvee on price.

Tried the higher dollar seed and they didn’t yield as well but were powder mildew resistant.

Chem place a few years ago got me a jug of fungicide that wasn’t real expensive. Use that and the big sprsyer in cheap howden pumpkins and they yield well here. May take a shot or two of fungicide but it’s easy to do with 90’ booms and a little wind. FYI it’s never windy enough when you need the wind....

John Deere and kinze corn meters will feed pumpkin seeds....

Spacing is a bugger.

Reflex and dual pre

Post select and treflan and work it in between the rows.

Use cage totes cut in half and plastic removed and bobcat to pick em. My 8 year old drove last two years and me and 2 high schoolers walked picking and he carried the tote with the bobcat.

After Halloween the price goes to crap.

Never take any to an Amish auction unless your name is Yoder too.
