SE SD | You can farm it all you want. Just get out of the farm program. You will need to Mitigate those acres or restore them to get rid of the CW+year label to be eligible for the farm program. Doesn't matter if your wife, or cousin or eddie down the street is listed as the owner, you wont be eligible for the farm program. Best to go talk to the NRCS and see what needs to be done.
